As a platform that was created to support our local UWL talent, we want to stay true to our roots. Below are all of the online services that we offer to our UWL/LCM students and alumni. We also host gigs which you can find out more info here.

You can contact us at THEMNGRMAG@GMAIL.COM.

From October 2019, we will start to do monthly features on artists/bands/DJ’s, producers, and alumni. Please read the following information carefully and send us an email for more information or to register your interest.

  • Spaces are first come, first serve and you can register your interest as far in advance as possible. Just send us an email.

  • These features are aimed to support new releases through promotional means and is meant to aid the growth of your fanbase. Due to this, we want to promote you during the month of your release. Planning your releases and seeking promotion from media sources in advance is how the music industry works, and we’re here to help you get in the practice of that! Several of our Committee/Society Members have had internships in PR agencies, record labels, and online music blogs, so we can assure you that we’ve learned from experience.

  • The feature will include a review on the day of your new single/EP/album release, an interview on our set day of release*, and a photoshoot if necessary. We want to have 8-15 high quality photo options to use for promotion, so if you don’t have those photos, we’ll try to schedule a photoshoot with you[r band].

  • If your release[s] gets delayed, we will try to be as flexible as we can with every individual scenario (i.e. if your release gets pushed by 1+ months, we can move your slot to the month it’s being released only if the spot is still available. If not, we’ll still promote your release through an article review and social media shares, but not as a feature interview).

These are the following dates every month when we will release the features. If your release is ahead of the date, we’ll write a review before the interview is released. If your release is after the date, we’ll write the review after the interview is released.

  • Artists/Bands/DJ’s — 15th of every month

  • Producers — 16th of every month

  • Alumni — 17th of every month
